#BeMoreSnail Day

Friday 19 October

Celebrate #BeMoreSnail Day on 19 October!

Bring the Snailway to life at home, at work, at school or wherever you are.

Embody the spirit of slow and steady Snails by choosing activities to help you slow down, focus and be calm.

Get your friends and colleagues together or Snail solo with some of these activities:

  • Hold an arts and crafts workshop: design a Snail or colour in a mandala. Creative activities are a great way to be mindful.
  • Get outside! Go for a walk (we recommend the Snailspace route), take photos, or play in the park. Being outside in nature helps us to be in the present moment.
  • Remember to take mindful brain breaks throughout the day. Whether just 30 seconds or 30 minutes, taking regular breaks helps us to focus and be calm.
  • Run a lunch time session with mindful activities such as colouring, yoga, or meditation.
  • Try a digital detox. Spending an hour or a day without looking your phone, tablet or screen can help our brains to relax and calm.

Why not turn your mindful activity into a fundraiser?

Get sponsored for every hour you stay on your digital detox or charge £5 for your meditation session – every donation you make will help provide the very best care and support for people living with a terminal illness.
