A very ‘Grand’ Snail
We are delighted to announce that Brighton’s iconic Grand Hotel is going to provide a home for a very special visitor this autumn. One of our giant gastropods will make itself comfortable on the lawn in front of one of the city’s most impressive facades. By the look of what happened when we took ‘Geo’ to meet some of the staff at The Grand he is going to be an attraction in his own right.
Speaking about why they wanted to be involved Andrew Mosley, General Manager, The Grand Hotel said:
‘After seeing the enormous success of the Snowdogs campaign, we were captured by the creativity and spirit of the project and were keen to get involved in this year’s Snailspace initiative. We are certain that the campaign will not only engage and excite the local community and visitors to the city, but most importantly help to raise vital funds for such a worthy charity. We are delighted to support this year and look forward to welcoming our ‘Grand’ Snail in the autumn.’
We think the giant snail will make a fantastic new addition to the concierge team and seems very at home in a bowler hat!
