Carl

Carl the Snail was designed and created by children at Carlton Hill Primary School, with inspiration from a fantastic ‘draw-along’ by the famous author and illustrator Nick Sharratt. He helped every child to draw themselves ‘jumping for joy’, and even drew an illustration of himself – can you spot Nick?!

A huge thank you to our wonderful PTA and school community who helped raise the money for Carl throughout the year. Finally, a special thanks to Georgie Smith and Laura Minter for helping to decorate Carl with art resources generously donated by Hobbycraft, Brighton.
