Fast Forward The Mixtape Snail

This statement Snail has been decked out to the max by iconic Brighton street artist Cassette Lord ‘to combat the onslaught of consumerist propaganda’ and bring the surreal into the everyday. Cassette Lord’s work is inspired by pop art, street beats and a retro aesthetic. He has an affinity for the high-contrast repetition of the 60s pop art movement and references shapes and objects people recognise from their childhood. Look out for other examples of Cassette Lord’s work as you wind your way around the city. He is best-known for transforming bland green phone-junction boxes into giant cassette tapes that pop with colour and verve.
