Hanover Care may run around the Snailway
We are delighted to welcome Hanover Care to the Snailway as Snailspace sponsors.
Based in Hove, Hanover Care, provides high quality care and nursing support to people in Brighton, Hove, Worthing and Sussex, as well as nursing, care, and support work staff to nursing homes, hospitals, nurseries and special needs units.
Nick Jackson-Smith, Finance Director, explained why they wanted to get involved:
“Having enjoyed following the Snowdogs trail in 2016, we were really pleased when the Martlets announced a new trail for 2018. All our employees, without exception, were so excited when we announced that we would be sponsoring a snail. We are really proud to be able to support our local hospice as, being a fellow care provider, we are well aware of the fantastic support they provide to both patients and their families”
Nick and James are also members of Hove Hornets running group and are planning to get them involved in a Snailspace Running Challenge, which will aim to take in the entire route. They also hope to extend the challenge to other running groups in the city, which would create quite an event and is something we’d love to see!
