Mr Watts

Step into a back corner of the garden – the place for broken and unused pots, where the ivy grows unchecked and the brick wall is damp. This is the snail space!

While they might be a bit of a pest for some, Mr Watts knows these mini molluscs have some life lessons to teach, which he conveys to us in the poem on his apron. Created by artist Judith Berrill and poet and author David Attree, this is a snail with a hidden tale to tell.

Find the ten little snails hiding in the garden and look at the coloured lines in the poem – they contain another secret to discover!
