Plastic pollution is one of the largest environmental threats facing humans and animals globally. The next generation is inheriting the mess that previous generations created. If we give them the tools to deal with the problem at an early age, we can turn this around.

We asked the children of West Hove to think about their local environment, about single-use plastics and the impact this has on our oceans and seas. Pupils produced an observational drawing of a piece of plastic, which we had collected from on and around our local beaches, to create our wonderful rainbow design.
