Snailspace Healthwalks with Active for Life
Healthwalks, that are part of the Active for Life Programme, are conducting two Snailspace Walks in November. This will help to encourage people in our community to get active and visit some of the Snails on the Snailway.
Brighton and Hove Council started Active for Life back in 2005 as a city-wide initiative to help Brighton and Hove residents be more active, more often. The council’s Healthy Lifestyles Team publish a programme of free, or low cost, events twice a year. The programme is packed full of ideas and activities for people of all ages and all abilities.
The first Snailspace Walk will start at Jubilee Library on Thursday 1st November at 11am. The second walk will start at the Grand Hotel at 11am on Thursday 8th November.
Not only will you get to see around 1.5 miles of our Snailway and some of our beautiful Snails, but the Active for Life team will explain how slowing down to a snail’s pace once in a while can be beneficial, and some of our very own Snailspace Route Masters will be on hand to tell you all about the Snails and Martlets.

The Snailspace Walks are being run free of charge, but donations to Martlets will be gratefully received.
