Snailway route is announced

11 Sep 2018

With just under a week to go until our gastropods hit the streets we’re delighted to share the 2018 Route Map. You can pick up copies of the map at all Martlets shops in the city as well as at the city’s information points. A PDF version is also available to download here.

80,000 maps have been produced for Snailspace by our print partner, Captiv8 who will also have a giant snail on the Snailway. They choose a design by local, award-winning illustrator Guy Parker-Rees who has created a snail in celebration of his much-loved book, ‘Giraffes Can’t Dance’.

Speaking about why they wanted to sign up as print partner, Simon Dean, director, Captiv8 said:

‘’Captiv8 enjoys a great ongoing relationship with Martlets Hospice.

Being part of the 2016 Snowdogs trail as print partner and sponsor was an enlightening experience, seeing how it brought people together and raised lots of money to support the incredible work that Martlets do.

So without question Captiv8 wanted to be involved again and to support Martlets with the new trail, this time for the wonderful Snails! We just know it’s going to be a fabulous experience and bring everyone together again to enjoy the trail and of course most importantly, raise lots of valuable funds for the Martlets Hospice.’’

Do pick up a map and start plotting your route around the snails.
